No Park = Hyper Freddie

This week I have been really busy, and as much as I love my Freddie, I had to put Life in front of him. He hadn't been to the park for around 2 weeks. This all changed today, when we went to the park. Freddie went absolutely crazy. He rushed over to his bushes, chased his dog friends and always ran back to me, to make sure that i hadn't left him. My next door neighbour, Alex, and I played AFL and had a fun hour running around with Freddie. When we got home Freddie collapsed on his bed, panted. had a drink, and lay there, still, for the next hour.

Freddie Gets Worms

hey guys, sorry I haven't posted in a while but here goes!

A few days ago Freddie was very strange. He was yelping and running around frantically. He was really clingy and as soon as you patted him he would calm down and sit on your lap until you left, but when you left he got all uncomfortable again. He would rub his bottom on my parents bed and on his own bed. My parents went and got him some worm tablets, but he was still very strange for the next few days. Freddie has calmed down now and is still the warm family pet that I love.

Freddie The Brave Stallion

Freddie loves going to the park. He is very interactive with the other dogs, and almost every time he gets into a fight. Although Freddie is a strong male Cocker spaniel, or an english hunting dog, he runs away from his fights and hides. He almost every time hides in the same spot, The table. He jumps up onto the table, and as all the other dogs aren't naughty, they don't jump up to. This technique has proved very well for Freddie, as no other dog has tried to follow him.

Apart from getting into fights, Freddie values his time at the park. Whenever I come home from school, he will run to greet me, with his lead in his mouth. He drops the lead in front of me, and nudges it forward. I always want to take him, but most days, because of Melbourne's AMAZING weather I can't. When we do go to the park together, we stay there for a fun 1-2 hours.

Most days we go with my next-door neighbour, and some days even his dog, coco comes. When we are at the park together, I play either AFL or Cricket, and Freddie is always wanting to join in.

Freddie and I love going to the park together <3 and he is such a fierce warrior :)

My First Day With Freddie

I was coming home from my next-door neighbour’s grandpas house, as we were parking opposite my house, I spotted my dad holding a cute golden dog. I thought in my head, oh great mum’s had a friend over again as a few weeks ago her friend had come over with 2 puppy’s. I asked mum, “whose dog is this” and as she replied “ours” a sudden adrenalin rush raced through my body. I had finally got the dog I was asking for!

We named him Freddie, just like I had wanted. He was my dream dog, A cocker spaniel, a boy, and the name I had wanted to call it. I sprinted, whacked the gate open and grabbed him from my dad. His fur was soft, and he was tiny. I waved goodbye to my neighbours as we went inside.

That night it came to the time where we had to decide where he would sleep. He hadn’t a bed yet or any toys. We looked around, and finally found an old box. We stuffed some news paper inside and Freddie had a temporary house. Freddie was an inside dog as we don’t have a large backyard. That night he whined and wined all night, and drove us all crazy, but it was worth it.

The next day when I woke up, I sprinted to his box, and he wasn't there. I was worried, where was Freddie? I looked around my living room and it was empty, deserted. The next second my heart jumped, my dad surprised me. He walked into the living room, Feddie in his arms, with an old teddy in his mouth. It was the cutest thing I had ever seen. Despite the excitement rushing through my body I still needed to go to school. I left the living room, left Freddie and returned to my room where I prepared myself for a day at school. As my mum rushed me out of the house, Freddie trotted over, jumped up and said goodbye :)

My first days with Freddie were the most memorable days of my life, along with the birth of my two younger sisters. Freddie settled in well in our family, and we treat him as one of us. He is a perfect family dog, as he was brought up with two young children, so he knows how to behave around kids.
